Briefing senior executives is a special skill not often taught within organizations. It requires one to be able to concisely share the right information in the right amount of time, regardless of the complexity of the topic. The executive presentation is more than just being able to be more concise, though; one must also be able to tailor the message to the specific executive so that they can make an informed decision supporting the organization’s future. In this workshop, participants will learn the executive mindset, which will help them understand how to choose what information should be shared and how. Participants will be provided with tips for preparing for an executive briefing and potential questions that may be asked. In addition, they will learn to “read the room” when presenting to an executive and how to adjust the message based on questions or comments they may receive.
